Robert L. Cormier, Jr. brings over 30 years of commercial banking expertise to his role as Executive Vice President for Home State Bank. Previously, he served in a variety of roles at Home State Bank, including most recently as Vice President of Commercial Lending overseeing a portfolio of private corporations in the manufacturing, real estate and retail industries. Cormier earned a Bachelor of Science in finance and management from Northeast Missouri State University n/k/a Truman State University and a Masters in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University. He has been active with the Raue Center for the Arts, The Community Foundation for McHenry County, McHenry County College Foundation, Crystal Lake Police Pension Board and previously was on the board of directors of the Hospice of Northeastern Illinois. Cormier has been a lifelong resident of Crystal Lake where he and his wife raised their four children.
