Dear Valued Customer,

We are pleased to announce that our retail banking center lobbies at Lake in the Hills, North McHenry, Woodstock and each Crystal Lake location will reopen on June 1st, 2020, in response to entering Phase 3 of the Restore Illinois plan. While we share great optimism towards a return to normalcy, we stress caution and encourage the continued use of our Drive-up windows to conduct your essential banking needs. As an added convenience, Real Estate Tax payments will be accepted at our drive-up windows. With your partnership, we can continue to practice safe social distancing for the protection of our customers, employees, and their respective families.

In preparation for our anticipated reopening, our staff has been working hard to implement new safety precautions including (but not limited to):
  • installation of protective plexiglass at Teller stations and Personal Banking desks
  • distribution of protective masks to all Home State Bank employees
  • 6' safe social distancing markers at the teller lines
  • a hand sanitizer station (minimally one per lobby)
Until further notice, any person desiring access to one of our banking center lobbies will be required to wear a protective mask.

As a community bank serving our customers for nearly 105 years, we have taken great pride in providing a superior customer service experience. We have thrived on hometown, neighborly face to face interactions as a way to build trust and long-term relationships. We will continue to make this our focus moving forward, while also offering great new technology features as convenient supplements. During these extraordinary times, we invite you to explore the many options that we have available to serve your banking needs:

  • Use the Home State Bank mobile app to deposit checks, transfer funds, and send money to your friends and family with Zelle®
  • Check balances, transfer funds, make loan payments, and communicate with our team through online banking

  • Call our 24-hour touch-tone banking at 815-261-9149 to check balances and transfer funds

Good Evening Valued Customers,

As we continue through these unprecedented times, please be assured that Home State Bank, N.A. is here to serve your needs during this very serious health crisis. Home State Bank, N.A. is one of the strongest and best capitalized financial institutions in the State.

Although the Governor of the State of Illinois has issued a “Shelter-in-Place” order, Home State Bank is considered an “essential service” and will continue to be available to meet your financial needs. We will operate in much the same fashion as we have throughout this week. We have suspended access to our lobbies in order to follow the best practices of social distancing, but have all of our Drive-Up facilities available to serve you .

We encourage you to contact us by phone if you have a need that cannot be accommodated at our Drive-Up facilities. We will be able to provide all services throughout this time. It is our primary goal to keep our employees and customer’s safe during this time, so we will make efforts to limit face to face contact.

Thank you for your continued support, as we work through this unusual time together.
